It is a controlled work envelope where heat, lifting routines, dust, and delivery access all compete for space. Buyers often begin by asking for a price per square meter, but the useful quotation starts with the work process. How high does the hook need to travel? Where will dismantled equipment wait before inspection? Which bay must accept a low-bed trailer at night? These operational details decide the column grid, crane beam elevation, ventilation area, slab loads, and the number of doors long before color-coated sheets are selected.
The first discussion should separate light service work from heavy maintenance. A light bay may only need a jib crane and a clear height suitable for vans. A heavy repair bay may require a five or ten ton overhead crane, stronger end frames, and a runway beam system with strict deflection limits.
